THE ORIGIN OF OTEF

A strong will to address some of the most pressing issues confronting Ghanaian communities led to the emergence of Opportunity Two Excel Foundation (OTEF). Beginning with a committed group of people bound by the same vision to create a platform empowering the underprivileged, advances gender equality and support sustainable development. Among the foundation's emphasis areas are health, education, environmental preservation, anti-child labor and human trafficking, People with disabilities (PWDs), poverty and inequality, prevention of child marriage and adolescent pregnancies e.t.c.

From its early days, OTEF distinguished itself as a women-led organization, emphasizing the importance of women’s leadership in driving social change. We are dedicated to defending the vulnerable, advocating for human rights, promoting livelihood and entrepreneurship among women and youth, and fostering smart agriculture and sustainable renewable energy practices.
